This track is all one take, and what I mean by that is I recorded the MIDI of an improvised piano part and then ran that out to a couple of synths after first passing the note info through some MIDI modifiers in Ableton. I also swapped the back half from a piano to a rhodes, just for fun. It’s neat working with MIDI this way, as a creative tool rather than a linear record.
