This video is again inspired by Cuckoo but also by Dallas Ambient Music Nights who hosted a screening of ‘Last and First Men’ by Johan Johansson along with a performance by Kent Evans – both were excellent. So here I made a moody experimental soundscape with all the tones generated by this cheap (but faithful) Mackie mixer feeding back into itself. The three or four notes you hear were found by manipulating the pan, headphone level, and aux send. The Dreadbox Dysphonia and the Robaux 3PT are super useful for turning the droned feedback into rhythmic patterns. It’s a long ride but hopefully you enjoy the whole thing.
